Job Title: Physiotherapist - Child Health and Development

SA Health is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in Gawler/Barossa, providing comprehensive and integrated paediatric physiotherapy services to the local community.

About the Role

As a Physiotherapist in this role, you will work collaboratively with health professionals and service providers to deliver a range of preventative, early intervention, therapy, and evaluation approaches as per the Country Health SA Children's Health and Development Model of Care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical care to children aged 0-7 years and their families, including those accessing NDIS services with conditions such as global developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder, and sensory disorders.
  • Work in one-to-one situations, group sessions, and at times within Department for Education sites.
  • Develop and maintain contemporary knowledge and skills in paediatric physiotherapy, and contribute to improving the quality of customer service provided to children and their families.
Requirements
  • Recognised qualification within the physiotherapy profession.
  • Eligibility for full membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
  • Practical experience in providing clinical physiotherapy services, including one-on-one, group, and health promotion activities.
