Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the security of our critical infrastructure.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our operational technology systems. They will be responsible for developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, influencing and providing OT security expertise, and designing and implementing compliance with relevant security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influencing and providing OT security expertise with site engineer and control system teams
  • Designing, implementing and supporting compliance with Australian Energy Sector Cyber Security Framework (AESCSF) & Security of Critical Infrastructure Act (SOCI Act) requirements
  • Supporting the development of OT security documentation, including operating procedures, internal standards, and architectural review documents
  • Driving and implementing intelligence-driven proactive defence and response initiatives
  • Recommending and implementing remediations for the prevention of future threats

Requirements:

  • Practical knowledge in Incident Response (end to end process) in an OT/ICS environment
  • The implementation and management of security operational capabilities, including technical and procedural
  • Development of design documentation, specifications, and standards
  • Onboarding capability onto the security platforms resulting from business change activities
  • Accountable and Responsible for ongoing development of automation into the security practices
  • Stakeholder focused with strong communication skills
  • Multi-vendor firewall & network security monitoring experience
  • Experience with on-prem virtualization technologies
  • Experience with the design and implementation of ICS OT monitoring and alerting solutions
