Speech Pathologist Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will provide supports to individuals of all ages and abilities, including those with neurodiverse conditions. The caseload will include mixed areas of early intervention, feeding, early language, parent coaching; paediatrics, adolescents, adults, dysphagia, communication difficulties and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

No two days will look the same. You might find us in childcare centres, schools, homes and even outreach locations as part of our community engagement program.

Our team works closely with various stakeholders to achieve our goals. We value collaboration, teamwork and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services.
  • Work with Early Years caseload (0-5) - Early intervention and parent coaching.
  • Support School-aged children (5-18) - Literacy, social communication, speech, language, fluency, voice, feeding and AAC assessment and implementation.
  • Work with Adults - Functional communication, speech, language, fluency, dysphagia and mealtime management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Speech Pathologist.
  • A passion for collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team.
