In this role, you will contribute to the implementation of environmental management and protection strategies and promote compliance with environmental legislation, regulations, and policies. This includes:
- Managing day-to-day planning, operation, and delivery of environmental compliance activities.
- Contributing to the development of environmental management plans and policies.
You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth knowledge of the compliance industry and its stakeholders. Your daily work will be unpredictable, often impacted by urgent and complex issues. You'll need outstanding agility, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills to tackle and solve these issues.
Key Skills and Experience Required- Experience leading and working as part of a team to achieve operational deliverables in a regulatory service delivery environment.
- Proven ability to communicate with influence, to motivate, develop, and engage staff.
- Understanding of contemporary environmental and regulatory legislation, trends, drivers, and approaches.
