Service Technician – Mechanical U/G - Mackay: Maintain Sandvik Mining equipment, perform mechanical duties, and ensure safe operation.
About the Role
- Carry out general mechanical duties, maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis work on Sandvik Mining equipment.
- Perform mechanical maintenance duties as per maintenance plans, upholding the integrity of the equipment, and ensuring safe operation.
- Provide feedback for efficient maintenance planning improvements.
- Record keeping of parts usage, equipment monitoring, and time records.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, especially EHS policies.
Requirements
- Qualification in a mechanical trade and a minimum 3 years' post-trade experience.
- Experience with U/G Coal Loaders is essential, and previous experience with Sandvik equipment and DES certification will be looked upon favourably.
- Right to live and work in this location, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass drug and alcohol tests, reference checks, and police checks.
