We have an exciting opportunity for a Leasing Paralegal to join our Property & Projects team in Sydney.
As a key member of the team, you will work collaboratively on a varied range of property and leasing matters using cutting-edge technology.
- Drafting, negotiating, and finalising all types of lease documents;
- Drafting client correspondence;
- Maintaining and updating client precedents;
- Liaising with clients and tenants or their representatives, as well as internal team members and stakeholders;
- Managing the lease renewal process;
- Advising in relation to matters ancillary to leases, including the requirements of the Retail Leases Act 1994;
- Understanding requirements for lodgement of documents in PEXA;
- Recording time in Aderant.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of leasing experience in a busy, high volume role;
- Outstanding communication skills;
- The ability to manage a high number of matters simultaneously;
- An innovative mindset with a focus on continuously improving the delivery of service to clients;
- Experience working with PEXA is highly desirable.
