Senior Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Security Specialist to contribute to the delivery of all aspects of security risk management.
This role involves developing and implementing security processes, supervising operational security, and managing security risk assessments. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as experience in security and/or a Defence Industry role.
The successful applicant will be able to inform and understand our Company policy and procedures, and demonstrate a working knowledge of Cyber Security Policy and standards.
About the Role- Develop and implement security processes guidelines in support of Policy and Standards requirements.
- Supervise all aspects of operational security for the business area in line with local security strategy, policies, standards and best practice.
- Manage security risk assessments and mitigation strategies in line with BAE Systems Australia standards and policy.
- Australian Citizen, eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 clearance.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in security and/or a Defence Industry role.
