Job Title:

Procurement and Commercial Manager

This role involves managing the overall commercial aspects of multiple live projects throughout their lifecycle.

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven individual with at least 10 years of experience in a similar role within the Australian Civil and Infrastructure space. The ideal candidate will have expertise in dispute management, contract negotiation, and analysis of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate head contracts to ensure they meet our company's risk positions.
  • Assess pre-award contracts for compliance with accepted company risk positions and create back-to-back contract terms to pass through head contract obligations to subcontractors.
  • Provide rights and obligations summaries to project teams and set up processes for site teams' strict compliance with contract notices.
  • Analyze and report on dispute success to inform senior management decisions.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar role within the Australian Civil and Infrastructure space.
  • Degree qualification in Business Law, Construction Management, Commerce, or Quantity Surveying.
  • Demonstrated experience in dispute management, contract negotiation, and analysis of financial data.
  • A positive, solution-focused attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
