
Senior Electronic Surveillance Professional

This role is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Electronic Surveillance Analyst. As a key member of the Electronic Surveillance Analysis (ESA) section, you will be responsible for delivering electronic surveillance products in support of AFP operations.
You will work closely with the team leader and other members of the ESA section to ensure the delivery of high-quality intelligence products that meet the needs of AFP investigations. Your expertise and knowledge of electronic surveillance techniques and tradecraft will be essential in providing actionable insights and informing investigative decisions.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of analytical methodologies such as discovery analysis, statistical analysis, anomaly analysis, and trend analysis. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:- Maintain advanced skills and expertise in electronic surveillance techniques and tradecraft.
- Deliver high-quality intelligence products that meet the needs of AFP investigations.
- Work closely with the team leader and other members of the ESA section to ensure the delivery of high-quality intelligence products.
- Conduct quality assurance of all ESA services and products.
- Develop and utilise effective working knowledge of broader AFP technical centres and collections.
- Australian citizenship.
- Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Completed Electronic Surveillance Analyst Foundations course or the ability to attain within 6 months of commencement.
- Ability to successfully complete an annual psychological screening specific to this position.
- Ability to mentor and develop members to enable mastery, teamwork, and purpose in the performance of their functions.
- An understanding of and ability to apply behavioural and pattern analysis techniques.
- Ability to be flexible and dynamic in response to changing priorities.
