Research Associate

About the Role:
This position is responsible for undertaking research-related support activities associated with the Australian Research Council Discovery Project. Working with a team of Chief Investigators from the University of South Australia, Australian National University, and La Trobe University, the successful candidate will conduct archival research at the Australian Queer Archives regarding LGBTIQA+ young people and youth histories in Australia.

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Postgraduate qualification in an area relevant to the research and/or relevant experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to plan and conduct archival research.
- Experience with data entry and database management.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience working with and/or conducting social research with young people.
- Experience with website development.
