With a strong focus on innovation and collaboration, you'll be responsible for driving the delivery of high-profile projects while building relationships with clients and stakeholders.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with experience in planning, designing, and commissioning resources and energy projects. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with engineers, project managers, and commercial leaders to deliver projects that meet client needs and expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering methods, codes, and specifications associated with resources projects. You'll also have experience with aspects of the planning, design, and commissioning processes, construction methods, and interface requirements of multi-disciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of civil engineering projects within the resources and energy sector
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and commercial leaders to develop project plans and strategies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and identify potential issues
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional registration (CPEng) highly regarded
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in civil engineering, preferably in the resources and energy sector
  • Strong knowledge of international and local engineering methods, codes, and specifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
