Rapid Response Physiotherapist

We are seeking a skilled physiotherapist to join our Allied Health team in the Emergency Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventing hospital admissions through timely allied health multidisciplinary intervention.
Key Responsibilities:- To work within the Allied Health Team and contribute to the development of clinical expertise and extensive specialized knowledge within the ED environment.
- To support medical, nursing, and community teams in Western Sydney Local Health District.
- To demonstrate advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with complex or critical situations.
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy with a strong focus on emergency department practice.
- Clinical experience in Physiotherapy, preferably in emergency departments or as a primary contact practitioner treating challenging patients.
- Extensive post-graduate clinical experience in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and demonstrated core competency skills in Cardiorespiratory, orthopaedic, gerontology, and Neurological Physiotherapy.
