Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cost and management accounting functions, including cost analysis, budgeting, and inventory valuation.

  • Analyse and monitor product costs, raw material costs, and overheads to ensure accurate standard costing.
  • Prepare new product costings accurately and on time.
  • Report on cost variance analysis to standards and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts related to manufacturing and operational costs.
  • Conduct margin analysis by product line and suggest improvements for cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory systems, and ERP platforms. They will also possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Manage inventory valuation and control; collaborate closely with warehouse and production teams.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities by providing necessary cost data.
  • Implement and maintain cost control procedures and ensure compliance with internal and external audit standards.
  • Own and monitor plant P&Ls along with operational budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional field (MBA or CPA/CMA preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cost or management accounting, preferably in an FMCG environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory systems, and ERP platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics BC, SAP).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
