This role supports the legal workstreams associated with regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with other teams to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

  • Provide comprehensive legal guidance on regulatory obligations and manage risk.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
  • Advise on internal governance frameworks, risk policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for strategic alignment.
  • Manage external legal services for cost-effective support.
  • Share legal expertise within the team and organization.
  • Promote a strong risk culture focusing on legal and reputational management.
About You

We seek a great communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills.

You should possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in law and current unrestricted practising certificate as an Australian Legal Practitioner.
  • Substantial post-admission experience working in superannuation or financial services.
  • In-depth knowledge of Commonwealth and State legislation related to financial services.
  • Strong negotiation, drafting, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience advising and collaborating with business teams on projects.
