About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be based at our Port Macquarie office and will report directly to the General Manager.

  • The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing effective and efficient pre-construction workflow, leading, motivating and coaching team members to develop technical and soft skills, ensuring the team are reforecasting projects daily to allow for accurate reporting, driving performance towards achieving team and business objectives, reviewing operational reports and metrics to execute strategic business plans, 120 days plans and other goals, collaborating with stakeholders including developers, councils and cross-functional teams to resolve issues impacting projects, building solid relationships with teams including sales and construction to identify opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • You will share a passion for excellence in residential construction and be aligned to core values (Think Bigger, People Matter, Better Together and Be Accountable).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, proven experience leading teams and day-to-day operations.
  • The ability to ensure exceptional customer experiences and work closely with clients to negotiate positive project outcomes, foresight and a strategic focus, effective decision making.
  • Residential construction experience or knowledge in project delivery, customer support and operations - highly desirable, understanding of building regulations and codes.
