**The Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer I to join our team at Flywire. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the StudyLink Connect product, a leading cloud-based student admissions solution used by Australian universities and international institutions.

**Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure code

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive change and improvement in all phases of the development lifecycle

• Work on complex issues, analyze situations or data, and exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

• Drive change and improvement in all phases of the development lifecycle

**Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in web application development, with CFML experience highly desirable

• Strong understanding of object-oriented fundamentals

• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL proficiency highly favorable

• Fluency in English, as it is the company's working language

• Experience in EdTech, FinTech, or the education or payment industry will be appreciated

• The ability to deliver high-quality code and learn quickly

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
