About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join our team and contribute to the success of our 10-year program of works for the City of Gold Coast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial aspects of construction and utilities contracts, identifying key areas of risk and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Procure subcontractors and negotiate commercial terms in accordance with company protocols.
  • Manage subcontractor claims, including payment, variations, and extensions of time.
  • Liaise closely with the project team to ensure commercial and financial risks are managed effectively.
  • Coordinate with project schedules to prioritize and ensure timely application of procurement processes.
  • Ensure internal financial reporting requirements are met through disciplined forecasting and tracking of revenue and costs.

Requirements

  • Formal qualifications in contract management are desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end procurement and contract formation in the construction and/or utilities sectors.
  • Sound commercial and financial acumen related to the construction/utilities sectors.
  • Experience in contractual notifications, claim preparation, and negotiation.
  • Excellent IT skills, including advanced skills in Excel and Word.
  • Experience with JDE is an advantage, but not essential.
