As a dedicated caregiver, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. Your compassion and empathy will be the foundation upon which we build our relationship with clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care services including hoisting, peg feeding, medication administration, bowel care, showering, and grooming, ensuring the highest level of dignity and respect for each client.
  • Work collaboratively with complex clients who may have behavioral issues or be under Positive Behavior Support Plans, utilizing your problem-solving skills to create personalized support plans that meet their unique needs.
  • Support clients with dual mental health disorders, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for them to express themselves and work through their challenges.
  • Collaborate with families who have complex and multiple needs, working closely with them to develop strategies that promote healthy relationships and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid Yellow Card or NDIS worker screening clearance, demonstrating your commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care and safety.
  • Obtain a Blue Card (for roles in Queensland), ensuring compliance with state-specific regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain current First Aid and CPR certification, showcasing your dedication to staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Hold a Driver's License, comprehensive vehicle insurance, and a vehicle, allowing you to efficiently travel between locations and provide on-time support.
  • Complete the NDIS worker orientation module and COVID-19 Infection Control training, equipping you with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver high-quality care.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and passion for improving people's lives, inspiring others to join our team and share your enthusiasm.
  • Adhere to The NDIS Code of Conduct, upholding the values and principles that guide our organization's mission and vision.
