Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional to join our operations team.

About the Role:

The Maintenance Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing the completion of all maintenance activities, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance personnel
  • Ensure equipment is serviceable and available to meet operational plans
  • Coordinate preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Provide guidance and support for technical projects and maintenance tasks
  • Lead by example with a hands-on approach

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in plant maintenance
  • Minimum 2 years experience in supervision
  • Strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Industrial manufacturing experience

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Post-trade qualification or equivalent experience
  • Restricted Electrical licence or Industrial Electrician qualifications
  • Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
  • PC skills including data handling, analysis, and presentation using Microsoft Office suite

Working Conditions:

  • Physical fitness and health for work
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and independently
  • Must be willing to work on tools
  • Forklift Licence
  • Driver's Licence (manual)
