We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Education Focused Lecturer to join our team in the Faculty of Education. As a key member of our academic staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of education by delivering high-quality teaching and research in the Master of Teaching and Master of Education programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver innovative teaching and learning experiences for students, including lectures, tutorials, and seminars.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials, and provide feedback to students.
- Coordinate subjects and supervise sessional teaching staff, as needed.
- Support students in connecting theory with practical application through clinical specialist duties.
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in Languages and Literacies Education, who is able to contribute to course and subject development, and provide specialized support to students during placements. You will have a broad knowledge base and expertise, and be able to teach across multiple subjects and programs.
You will also have:
- A PhD or research doctorate in Languages and Literacies Education or a relevant discipline.
- The capability to teach in subject areas such as Learning Area English, encompassing core and foundational subjects.
- A strong understanding of contemporary theoretical and policy debates and practices within language and literacies education.
