We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Professional to join our team.

About the Role

  • This position involves delivering high-quality patient care in a specialist oncology setting.
  • You will work collaboratively with veterinarians and other nursing staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Your contribution will be crucial in creating a supportive and friendly team environment, guided by experienced oncology specialists and clinicians.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in veterinary nursing or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a busy general practice or referral/specialist hospital or emergency nursing is required.
  • A strong work ethic, ability to multi-task, and capability to work independently and as part of a team are necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.

Desirable Attributes

  • Diploma of Veterinary Nursing or equivalent further training would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge and experience in anaesthetic monitoring, oncology nursing, and patient care would be beneficial.
  • Experience in an emergency and/or specialist hospital would be highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with RX works, SmartFlow, and Idexx blood machines would be an asset.
