Lead Data Infrastructure Developer

Purpose of the Role:

Develop scalable, cloud-native data infrastructure that powers fundraising and supporter engagement. This role involves designing ML-ready data models, building robust ETL pipelines, and enabling predictive analytics to inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and maintain a high-performing data warehouse in Google BigQuery, supporting scalable analytics, AI/ML workloads, and customer relationship management platforms.
  • Design efficient data models for analytics and machine learning using SQL and dbt, ensuring structured, performant, and ML-ready storage, transformation, and accessibility.
  • Develop and manage ETL pipelines leveraging GCP-native tools and Python for reliable data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across platforms.
Requirements:
  • Advanced experience with SQL (BigQuery and PostgreSQL preferred), Python, database management, ETL processes, data modeling, and preparing datasets for AI/ML applications.
  • Expertise with core GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions, or similar services on other platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) such as Salesforce Data Cloud.
