Planogram and Space Planning Role

This role is a key support function for the Visual Merchandising and Space Management Team.

">

The primary responsibility of the Planogram and Space Planner is to ensure that all regular and scheduled space planning tasks for corporate retail outlets are completed in a timely manner.

">

The role supports the Merchandise and Retail teams by maximizing the profitability mix of all Corporate Retail outlets through proactive management of the planogram process, merchandising support, and recommendations to category, product, and merchandising management.

The position requires strong planning, analytical, and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and initiate corrective actions in a prompt and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating visually appealing showcase displays for strategically important stores, including window displays, interior displays, and special promotions displays.">
  • Developing new concepts, displays, and options for visual merchandising that balance innovation and design with low-cost and pragmatic solutions.">
  • Contributing to promotional guides aligned with business objectives.">
  • Proactively managing comprehensive catalogues of planograms to meet diverse store layouts, sizes, and customer demographics.">
  • Supporting the development of a flexible and scalable visual merchandising strategy.">
  • Developing frontline capability and conditions for success in implementing the VM strategy.">
  • Managing and maintaining planogram files and product merchandising through software tools available.">

Requirements:

  • Possess a thorough understanding of computer skills, including Windows, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.">
  • Proficient using Adobe programs, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.">
  • Sound knowledge of all aspects of Blue Yonder Space Planning Plus.">
  • Proficient in using live images and maintaining a product library within nominated software.">
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of typical retail industry supply chain functions, processes, and systems supporting inventory management and fulfillment.">
  • Exposure to inventory forecasting and replenishment systems, tools, and methodologies.">
  • Excellent planning, analytical, and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and initiate corrective actions.">
  • Relevant space management experience in a retail environment.">
