Job Description

ORS is proud to launch its brand-new Inclusive Employment Australia – Mental Health Specialist division seeking passionate and high-performing professionals to support participants with mental health conditions into meaningful and sustainable employment.

This unique opportunity allows you to work within an evidence-based service change lives and help build inclusive communities where everyone can thrive.

About the Role

As an employment specialist you will manage a caseload of participants with mental health disability and provide tailored person-centred support to empower them to achieve their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver services using the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Model the world's most evidence-based approach to employment for people with mental illness.
  • Support participants through every step of their journey vocational profiling job search resume and interview preparation placement post-placement support and ongoing support.
  • Strive to exceed individual and team performance targets delivering sustainable employment outcomes and contributing to the overall success of the service.
  • Build strong partnerships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with NDIS and community providers ensuring wrap-around supports for participants' wellbeing.
  • Monitor outcomes keep accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Celebrate participant achievements and foster resilience confidence and long-term success.
Why this role?

A relevant Certificate III or higher qualification is required along with experience in employment services mental health support or disability services. You'll need strong communication skills business development skills and local employer connections.
