Lead Cyber Threat Analyst

Hatchit Studios is seeking experienced professionals to support the enhancement of cyber security operations for a high-profile federal program.

  • Develop and enhance Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) capabilities within enterprise Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) environments.
  • Deliver and support security solutions across the Azure Stack, including Azure Sentinel, Monitor, Defender for Cloud, Entra Identity, and Azure ARC.
  • Build advanced alerting using Kusto Query Language (KQL) and develop detailed security playbooks.
  • Manage log onboarding and transformation activities to optimize ingestion.
  • Lead incident investigations and response using Defender Extended Detection and Response (EDR) and Splunk.
  • Produce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to change control processes.
  • Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to other cybersecurity analysts.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 5 years in a technical cybersecurity role.
  • Strong experience across ticket/case management systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in incident response and cybersecurity threat management.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and mentor junior staff.
