
Chief Town Planner

As a senior urban planner, you will administer provisions and requirements of city planning schemes and related policies. This is a leadership role that fosters teamwork, process improvement, and respect. The occupant provides guidance and mentoring to the planning team while achieving professional development, quality assurance, and excellence in customer service.
This involves general supervision and training on legislative requirements, inspection processes, and procedures. You will also process complex applications for development and subdivision, prepare comprehensive reports, recommendations, and presentations to relevant panels, and provide expert advice on statutory urban planning issues.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A tertiary qualification in town planning.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
