About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Officer to join our team at Mater Misericordiae Ltd. As a Medical Officer, you will be responsible for providing medical care to patients under the supervision and direction of Registrars and Senior Medical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Interviewing, examining, and identifying patients and evaluating clinical problems;
- Planning overall clinical care;
- Selecting and organizing appropriate investigations;
- Reviewing patients and ensuring safe handover of patient care to after-hours staff;
- Documenting patient progress in the patient record;
- Preparing discharge letters, discharge summaries, and other reports as required by the hospital;
- Providing assistance in operating theatres, including a remote surgical assist roster;
- Assisting with case presentations at teaching meetings.
