Cloud Optimization Specialist

Our flagship products, Elastigroup and Ocean, require expertise in designing, building, and scaling backend systems that power our cloud optimization platform.

  • We're seeking a seasoned Cloud Optimization Specialist to join our GCP/Azure group. This role involves mentoring junior developers, influencing architectural decisions, and fostering a collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new product features and backend components, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

  • Drive architectural decisions and influence the technical direction of our cloud-native solutions.

  • Mentor and support developers, promoting clean code, robust testing practices, and continuous improvement.

  • Champion engineering excellence by documenting and communicating technical decisions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience, with a strong command of modern backend languages.

  • Proven ability to design and scale distributed systems, with a deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and database technologies.

  • Cloud-native mindset, with practical experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized environments.

  • A track record of technical ownership and a passion for building clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

  • Strong mentorship and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide junior developers.
