Are you a seasoned HR professional seeking a new challenge in a dynamic global mining services company? We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join our Corporate HR team on a full-time, 12-month maximum-term contract.

As a key point of contact for people expertise, you will partner with our leaders to provide expert coaching and advice, supporting workforce development and coordinating cyclical processes. You will play a crucial role in helping leaders improve employee engagement, performance, productivity, and retention to create a safe and respectful workplace.

Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Coordination of employee lifecycle events, including performance planning and review, employee relations, learning and development, and remuneration reviews
  • Coach leaders on people leadership, organisational matters, and interpretation of policies
  • Implementation of projects to support Inclusion Plans and creating a culture of safe and respectful workplaces
  • Provide guidance and interpretation of IR and ER to leaders and mitigate risks to the business
  • Review and update policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practice

Key skills and experience required for this role include:

  • 5 years of post-graduate, Generalist HR experience
  • Demonstrated prior experience as a HRBP, providing strategic HR advice
  • In-depth knowledge and recent exposure to Australian employment law, Fair Work, and Modern Awards
  • Industry exposure in professional services, contracting, construction, resources, or similar
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills and able to engage with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work well as part of a team
