
Teaching Position in Digital Technologies

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Technology Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs in Technology Mandatory (7-8) and Food Technology (7-12). The role requires a strong ability to implement evidence-based teaching practices, engage and develop students with a wide range of abilities, and improve literacy and numeracy.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of curriculum design and delivery, as well as the capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team. They will also possess highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs in Technology Mandatory (7-8) and Food Technology (7-12)
- Implement evidence-based teaching practices to engage and develop students with a wide range of abilities
- Work collaboratively as part of the TAS faculty to contribute to programming, assessment, and resource development
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to whole school and extracurricular programs, including Aboriginal Education
Requirements:
- Approval to teach Technology Mandatory (7-8) and Food Technology (7-12)
- Demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based teaching practices
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
