Ambulance Transport Attendant

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Ambulance Transport Attendants to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service. As a key member of our Mobile Patient Care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road to ensure the highest level of care.
- Provide exceptional patient care and treatment during on-road transport, adhering to all RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
- Assess the effectiveness of interventions and maintain an understanding of RFDS MPC policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless patient care and transportation services.
- Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in the Non-Emergency Patient Transport sector is desirable but not essential.
- Hold a FULL Victorian Drivers licence and have the ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions.
- Availability to work shifts across a 7-day roster.

As part of the application process, you will be required to provide evidence of the following vaccinations:
- Hepatitis B
- Chicken Pox
- Measles, Mumps and Rubella
- Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis
- Annual Influenza
- COVID-19 (2 vaccinations + booster)
All positions are subject to a National Police Check and holding a Working with Children Check.
