We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ambulance Transport Attendant to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service. As a key member of our Non-Emergency Patient Transport team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road
- Provide high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders
- Assess the effectiveness of interventions in accordance with RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) or equivalent qualification
- Experience working in the Non-Emergency Patient Transport sector (desirable but not essential)
- Full Victorian Driver's License and ability to drive in city and country traffic conditions
- Availability to work across a 7-day 24-hour roster with 10 and 12-hour shifts
- Generous penalties and overtime allowances

As part of the application process, you will be required to provide evidence of the following vaccinations:
- Hepatitis B
- Chicken Pox
- Measles, Mumps, and Rubella
- Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis
- Annual Influenza
- COVID-19 (2 vaccinations + booster)
All positions are subject to a National Police Check and holding a Working with Children Check.
