Job Summary


This role is responsible for carrying out manual labor tasks and providing assistance to project supervisors in achieving a safe and well-organized project environment.


About the Role


  • The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors and have previous experience in laboring tasks.
  • A basic understanding of plant capabilities and outputs in construction areas is essential.
  • The ideal candidate should have a can-do attitude and be able to work effectively in a team to complete tasks and projects.
  • A Certificate III level qualification or willingness to obtain with council assistance is highly desirable.
  • The role requires physical laboring tasks associated with council's maintenance and construction activities.
  • Good oral and written communication, literacy, and numeracy skills are necessary for this position.

Key Responsibilities


  1. Carry out physical labor tasks as directed by project supervisors.
  2. Assist project supervisors in achieving a safe and well-organized project environment.
  3. Maintain a high level of physical fitness to perform laboring tasks.
  4. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
