What You Will Be Doing:

  1. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard, adhering to recipe specifications and presentation guidelines;
  2. Manage multiple orders simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high levels of quality control;
  3. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols;
  4. Assume responsibility for the preparation and presentation of special dietary requirements;
  5. Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery;

Requirements:

  • A commercial cookery qualification with minimum 2 years' experience as a Demi Chef in a hotel or restaurant environment;
  • Experience in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, adhering to presentation guidelines;
  • Familiarity with WHS and food safety policies and procedures;
  • Relevant knowledge of food preparation and service techniques;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills;
  • Ability to work unsupervised and lead by example;
