
Family Violence Specialist Psychologist

We are seeking a professional to join our team in providing specialist psychological services and support to children, young people, and their families who have experienced family violence.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and case management services to assist children and young people recover from the effects of family violence trauma through delivery of developmentally appropriate specialist psychological services.
- Conduct evidence-based assessments and interventions within frameworks of family violence, trauma, and attachment models.
- Undertake psychological assessments using standardised methods and provide referrals to appropriate agencies as necessary.
- Collaborate in program development, implementation, and evaluation for clients of Family Violence Counselling and Support Service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist children and young people to overcome the impact of family violence trauma.
- Provide psychological support and therapy services.
- Manage cases effectively and make necessary referrals.
- Participate in program development and evaluation.
