Credit Officer

About the Role:

This is a permanent full-time position as a Credit and Collections Specialist. You will be responsible for managing your allocated ledger and working in a collaborative environment with a fast-paced business.

You will be required to prepare aged debtors reports, allocate payments, perform debtor reconciliations, assist with month end preparation, maintain your ledger and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO), and develop strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely aged debtors reports
  • Allocate payments effectively
  • Perform regular debtor reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end preparations
  • Maintain accurate ledgers and reduce DSO
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a full-function Collections/Credit role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deal with diverse stakeholders
  • Able to work under tight deadlines
