About the Role

The Senior Branch Manager is a pivotal leadership position within the Community Bank team, responsible for building a strong, inclusive, and dynamic local Community Bank business. This role requires active management of the company's profit and loss, cost to income ratio, and overall growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the area across multiple customer channels.
  • Read and interpret financial reports to effectively manage branch costs and income, achieving operating profit growth.
  • Collaborate with branch leaders to establish an effective sales operating rhythm, achieving set targets and growing business performance.
  • Establish and nurture business networks to build the branch profile in the local community and create an effective referrer network.
  • Listen and learn from customer feedback to continue building and improving the connection with customers.
  • Embed operational and risk management practices through regular and clear communication on requirements.

About You

  • Proven experience in building a strategic plan for the market.
  • Strong communication skills to deliver clear branch expectations.
  • Proven sales leadership through implementing strategy to drive business.
  • Strong relationship management with the ability to effectively network and engage with the community and partners.
  • People leadership with the ability to develop, coach, and manage staff performance.
  • Understanding of financial management, business acumen, and risk framework.
  • Banking experience with a background in residential and commercial lending.
  • Ability to analyze and understand financial reports and statements.
  • Effective and influential presentation and public speaking skills.
