Job Title: Power System Protection and Control Engineer

Job Summary:

  • Design complex electrical utility power system infrastructure, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform detailed protection and control design of medium to high voltage substations, including one-line diagrams, equipment selection, schematics, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with designers/drafters to develop drawing packages and coordinate designs with other disciplines.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control programs, contribute to engineering proposal development, and assist with project scheduling and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
  • Strong understanding of power system equipment and its function, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal team members and external clients.
  • Three or more years' experience in power system design preferred.
