Mathematics Educator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mathematics Educator to join our team at an F-9 school in Tarneit. As a Mathematics Educator, you will be responsible for guiding students in years 7-9, supporting them in cultivating a diverse range of mathematical skills and concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive math curriculum that aligns with The Victorian Curriculum.
- Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to effectively convey mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies.
- Provide timely feedback to students on their performance and progress in math.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students, including providing additional support or challenges as needed.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in math education, teaching methodologies, and curriculum development.
- Collaborate with other math teachers and school staff to share resources, ideas, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
- Valid VIT registration.
- Demonstrate previous experience in teaching secondary Maths in Australia.
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years.
