Mathematics Instructor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our team at a reputable F-9 school in Tarneit. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for guiding students in years 7-9, helping them develop a diverse range of mathematical skills and concepts.

• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive math curriculum that aligns with The Victorian Curriculum.
• Lesson Planning: Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Teaching Methods: Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to effectively convey mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies.
• Feedback and Support: Provide timely feedback to students on their performance and progress in math, and differentiate instruction to meet individual needs.
• Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in math education, teaching methodologies, and curriculum development.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other math teachers and school staff to share resources, ideas, and best practices.

• Unrestricted Working Rights: Hold unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• VIT Registration: Have valid VIT registration.
• Teaching Experience: Demonstrate previous experience in teaching secondary Maths in Australia.
• References: Be able to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years.
