Home Support Assistant

We are currently recruiting passionate and caring individuals who are looking to make a difference in the lives of our aged care clients by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible.

The role of a Home Support Assistant is to provide quality personalised care to our valued aged care clients in their own homes through services such as general household tasks, personal care, transport, meal preparation, social support and respite.

  • Provide assistance with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and toileting
  • Assist with household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning bathroom & kitchen, changing beds, hanging up washing etc.
  • Transport clients to appointments and shopping
  • Prepare meals
  • Provide social support
  • Offer respite

As a Home Support Assistant, you will be travelling around Inner West suburbs and will need to have some availability during weekdays Monday to Friday (preferably 2-5 days).

Key Qualifications
  • Hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
  • Have a strong communication skillset and a positive attitude
  • Be reliable and compassionate towards the elderly
  • Hold a current Australian driver's licence and have access to a reliable insured motor vehicle
  • Have evidence of Covid vaccinations
