Geography Educator Position

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to inspire students to understand and appreciate the world around them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum, promoting academic excellence and student progress.
  • Monitor student development, providing timely feedback and intervention where necessary, to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities within the Humanities department, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Develop creative teaching methods and extracurricular opportunities to instill a passion for geography among students.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and a positive learning atmosphere, ensuring a supportive environment for all learners.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting, with excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to academic achievement.
  • Is reflective, adaptable, and committed to ongoing professional development, with the ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team, with a positive and proactive approach, contributing to the success of the school community.
