Position Overview
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a prominent lighting distributor, renowned for offering premium lighting solutions for both residential and commercial sectors. Ideal for a Customer Service Representative, Sales Consultant, or Retail Sales Assistant who excels in conveying lighting concepts to clients.
- Previous retail sales experience is essential.
- Compensation package: up to $70,000.
- Located in the inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Daily Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in a compact showroom connected to a warehouse.
- Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate lighting options.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the lighting products available.
- Respond to customer inquiries in person and via phone.
- Process customer orders and coordinate with sales and logistics teams for timely delivery.
- Establish and nurture strong client relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
- Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the sales journey, from initial engagement to after-sales support.
- Conduct product demonstrations and effectively communicate lighting concepts to customers.
