Activity Manager

This is a key role that requires strategic leadership and management to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The Activity Manager will oversee the development and implementation of new outdoor activity programs, products, and services.

The successful candidate will have strong planning, organisational, and business management skills, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role in outdoor education, leadership, and/or recreation.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can work collaboratively as part of our onsite leadership team to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new outdoor activity programs and products.
  • Manage and lead a team of competent outdoor instructors.
  • Create a professional and safe environment for delivering all activities.
  • Oversight staff development and achievement of instruction and service quality targets.
  • Act as one of the Workplace Health and Safety champions in the centre.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of Cert IV in Outdoor Recreation, Outdoor Leadership, or Sport, Recreation and Event Management.
  • Nationally recognised qualifications in roping, canoeing, and kayaking.
  • A full clean driving license (preferable Heavy Vehicle/Light Rigid License).
  • Strong planning, organisational, and business management skills.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role in outdoor education, leadership, and/or recreation.
