Job Description: Wardrobe Attendant

This is an exciting opportunity where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our Hotels at The Star. As a Wardrobe Attendant, you will be at the heart of our property ensuring all team members' uniforms are prepared and ready for their day.

You will maintain high presentation standards, promote a positive experience, and build memorable connections with both our team members and guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide friendly customer service to our team members, ensuring the garment's quality and cleanliness are maintained
  • Support the Wardrobe Supervisor with daily operations such as assigning and allocating uniforms to new recruits
  • Assist in periodical uniform stock takes and maintain organisation of garments
  • Evaluate and ensure personal safety and the safety of other team members, contractors, and conveyer belts, as well as any equipment faults to guarantee a smooth operation
What We Are Looking ForEssential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in Wardrobe and/or Housekeeping functions, demonstrating an understanding of operational needs in these areas
  • Knowledge in laundry and understanding different kinds of fabric (desired but not essential)
  • Great communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, demonstrating initiative and reliability in all tasks
