Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to safeguard our technology environment and ensure the alignment of security practices with established frameworks, policies, and standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Support the integration of cyber security into business-as-usual operations and projects.
  2. Maintain awareness of the evolving threat landscape, compliance obligations, and security best practices.
  3. Assist in implementing and improving security technologies, policies, and operational controls.
  4. Contribute to secure system design and product development by providing expert guidance.
  5. Manage and monitor key security platforms (e.g., vulnerability management, privileged access, secure email).
  6. Support incident response, investigations, and cyber security testing (e.g., phishing, penetration tests).
  7. Develop and deliver security awareness training and ensure policy compliance across the organization.
  8. Coordinate compliance, audit, and due diligence efforts in collaboration with Risk, Legal, and Technology teams.
  9. Perform third-party risk assessments and stay engaged with industry trends and innovations.
  10. Provide general cyber security advice and support to staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Information Security with strong knowledge of security operations and vulnerability management.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, Data Loss Protection, and email security incident response.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices, particularly around Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
  • Skilled in security awareness training, phishing simulations, and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Strong communicator, able to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience leading security projects and refining processes for network and information security.
  • Committed to continuous learning and ideally hold, or are working towards, cyber security certifications.
