Gallagher Bassett is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Workers Compensation leadership team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the operations of our Long-Term Management Week Claims teams, ensuring a high-quality claims service for Injured Workers and Employers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to your teams, ensuring a professional and customer-focused claims service.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with staff, Worksafe, employers, and service providers.
- Work with your teams to implement innovative solutions that enhance claimant and client experiences.
- Analyse team performance trends and take corrective actions as needed.
- Create and achieve individual team business plan goals aligned with company priorities.
- Integrate risk management into all business functions to minimize adverse impacts and realize opportunities.
- Improve claims management outcomes and adhere to SLA requirements.
- Drive career-focused conversations to facilitate learning and development within your teams.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous Workers Compensation Insurance experience with a strong understanding of industry-related legislation.
- Advanced knowledge of claims management concepts in Workers Compensation practices.
- Proven client relationship and engagement experience at a leadership level.
- Strong people leadership, management experience, and motivational ability.
- Experience in recruiting, developing, and retaining individuals.
- Ability to identify patterns or trends that require corrective action across people and operations.
- Tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline or demonstrated experience in a similar role.
