About Ocado Group

Ocado Group is a UK-based company that is one of the world's largest dedicated online grocery retailers. We operate our own grocery and general merchandise retail businesses under Ocado.com. We provide services to partner clients globally via our innovative advanced robotics technology, known as the Ocado Smart Platform (OSP). This drives our highly automated, multi-million dollar Customer Fulfillment Centers (CFCs). In our CFCs, together with the proprietary software applications, we operate a world-class online grocery business that automates the single pick of products, ready for delivery via our local partner Coles.

We have two CFC facilities that will move into go-live operations this year and responsibilities will span the full generalist spectrum, e.g. hiring, engagement, employee relations, communications, performance management, L&D interventions, talent management, payroll, reward, and recognition, and many more.

An exciting opportunity to diversify your experience, providing people partnering and advisory support in an autonomous role to our business in Australia.

This role has direct people management responsibility for one Senior Payroll Specialist and provides dotted line support to Business Support resources (x1 in each location). You will also have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Coles team to drive a strong partnership between Coles and Ocado and work closely with our local leadership team in Australia.

This opportunity is based in Melbourne and can be performed on a full-time or part-time basis (either 4 days a week or part-time hours across 5 days). We have a flexible way of working, with the opportunity to work from home and from site.
