About the Role

We are seeking a Hospitality Service Assistant to join our team at Bupa's Bellarine Lakes care home. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the care home, including laundry and catering services.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with food preparation, serving, and clearing, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience for residents.
  • Participate in regular cleaning and maintenance tasks, including mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection.
  • Work collaboratively with the hospitality team to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or care environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues, and management.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
