Maintenance Officer

The Maintenance Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the overall upkeep and maintenance of our shopping centres, providing a safe and welcoming environment for our customers and retailers. This position will work closely with the Operations Manager to identify and address maintenance needs, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and maintenance of internal and external structures, carparks, signage, road works, and gates.
- Maintain and service retailer facilities within the centre, including staff toilets and loading docks.
- Ensure the maintenance and presentation of centre malls and public facilities.
- Assist with centre minor capital expenditure programs.
- Engage suitably qualified contractors for more substantial works.
- Previous experience in general maintenance tasks.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety and experience coordinating contractors within a maintenance environment.
- Responsiveness and efficiency in maintenance activities.
- Positive attitude and ability to enhance customer experience.
